High-performance film is designed to be cleaned hard, but a few habits keep it looking its best for the full 20+ years.
Everyday cleaning
Wipe with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. For greasy marks, add a little alcohol.
Stubborn stains
Most stains — oil-based ink, iodine, coffee — lift with water or alcohol. Even marks that have cured for 24 hours usually come away.
What to avoid
Skip abrasive pads, strong solvents and bleach-based products unless the film is rated for them. Rinse any disinfectant residue with clean water.
Protect the edges
Most premature wear starts at joints and corners. Specify proper trims and keep edge profiles clean on site.
